2016
2016 Founded by Jason Gelchen, Homeground Studios started as a home-based recording studio dedicated to provide a safe space for musicians to push creative boundaries.
Homeground Studios began working closely with various local artistes and bands.
2018 In 2018, Jason Gelchen partnered with MJ Tan, setting their sights towards more Film and TV opportunities.
During this time, Homeground Studios also moved out to a cosy space alongside Balestier Road.
2018
2020
2020 Amidst the changes and adjustments made during the COVID19 pandemic, Homeground Studios adapted and moved to a bigger space along Serangoon Road.
The team continued to work hard on bigger and better opportunities, exploring music and audio for mediums like theatre and games.
Present Homeground Studios now occupies a space they call their own, boasting four control rooms, two live rooms, a lounge and offices in between.
Having amassed a wide connection of talent locally and regionally, Homeground Studios shifted to more active collaborations with singer-songwriters, musicians, and voice talent for commissioned projects. Their hope lies in bridging the gap between the music scene, labels and brands, providing opportunities for everyone onboard.
